Description

Engineering work is taking place between Chester / Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly, closing various lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Between 22:25 and 05:45 each night, no trains will run between Chester, Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly or Manchester Airport.

Rail replacement buses will run between:

  • Chester and Manchester Piccadilly / Manchester Airport

  • Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly

  • Manchester Airport / Manchester Piccadilly and Chester

Please note: The majority of replacement buses do not run between Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Airport. For travel between these stations, you should use other train services.

Additionally, the 06:25 Manchester Airport to Llandudno will be amended to start from Chester, with a replacement bus service from Manchester Piccadilly to Chester.
