Description

Engineering work is taking place between Moston and Manchester Victoria, closing various lines.

Saturday:

  • All train services between Manchester Oxford Road / Warrington Central / Liverpool Lime street will run to an amended and reduced timetable

  • Manchester Victoria and Chester via Earlestown train services will not run. Customers should use alternative services operated by Transport for Wales at no extra cost

  • Train services between Chester/ Manchester Victoria and Leeds, will now run between from Rochdale

  • Train services between Leeds and Wigan Wallgate, will now run between Leeds and Hebden Bridge, and between Manchester Victoria and Wigan North Western. You must find alternative travel to get to Wigan Wallgate

  • Train services between Clitheroe / Blackburn and Rochdale, will now run between at Manchester Victoria

  • Train services between Blackburn and Headbolt Lane, will now run between Manchester Victoria

  • Train services between Stalybridge and Southport, will now run between Manchester Victoria

  • Train services between Manchester and Preston / beyond will run to an amended timetable. Customers are to check their service before they travel

Sunday:

  • Train service between Leeds and Manchester Victoria, will now run between Rochdale

  • Train service between Blackburn and Manchester Victoria via Todmorden, will now run between Rochdale

Replacement buses:

Buses will be in place all weekend between Manchester Victoria and Rochdale.
