Description

Engineering work is taking place between Manchester Piccadilly / Manchester Victoria and Bolton, and between Salford Crescent and Walkden, closing various lines.

Buses will replace trains between Manchester Piccadilly / Manchester Victoria and Bolton / Wigan Wallgate.

• Trains between Manchester Airport and Preston (and beyond) will be diverted and will not call at stations via Chorley / Bolton

• Trains between Manchester Victoria and Clitheroe will run between Bolton and Clitheroe

• Trains between Leeds and Wigan Wallgate will run between Leeds and Manchester Victoria

• Trains between Stalybridge and Wigan Wallgate / Southport / Headbolt Lane will have an amended service running between Stalybridge and Manchester Victoria, between Wigan Wallgate and Headbolt Lane, and between Bolton and Southport
