Description
Engineering work is taking place between Glasgow Central and Motherwell / Carlisle, closing some lines.
Avanti West Coast:
A reduced timetable will operate on the London Euston to Glasgow Central, some services will start from / terminate at Carlisle, while some other services will be diverted via Mount Florida to / from Glasgow Central.
Trains between London Euston and Scotland via Birmingham New Street, will operate between London Euston and Preston.
CrossCountry:
No trains will call at Glasgow Central and Motherwell.
Rail replacement buses will operate between Motherwell and Edinburgh.
You can use ScotRail services between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh at no extra cost.
ScotRail:
All weekend, trains between Glasgow Central High Level and Motherwell / Lanark will run between Motherwell and Lanark only. Passengers can connect with trains at Motherwell for onward journeys via Hamilton or Carmyle.
On Saturday, trains between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Carstairs will not run. Buses will operate between Motherwell and West Calder, calling at Carluke, Wishaw and Carstairs for onward connections.
TransPennine Express:
No trains will run between Glasgow Central and Carlisle. You should use Avanti West Coast services instead between Glasgow Central and Carlisle.
Some early morning / late night replacement buses will run between Lockerbie and Carlisle in order to maintain connections with train services.

Carlisle and Liverpool Lime Street / Manchester Airport
