Description

Engineering work is taking place between Carstairs and Shieldmuir, closing some lines.

Saturday:

Amended service between routes below:

Glasgow Central High Level – Motherwell / Lanark

• An hourly, diverted train service will operate between Glasgow Central and Wishaw

• Trains will not call at Motherwell, Shieldmuir, Carluke or Lanark

• Buses replace trains between Bellshill and Lanark calling at intermediate stations via Motherwell

Balloch – Motherwell via Whifflet

• Buses replace trains between Whifflet and Motherwell

Balloch / Milngavie – Motherwell / Cumbernauld via Hamilton

• Train services will start and terminate at Rutherglen

• Buses replace trains between Dalmarnock and Motherwell / Cumbernauld

Glasgow Central High Level – Edinburgh (via Carstairs)

• Buses replace trains between Glasgow Central and Haymarket

• Mini-buses operate between Edinburgh and Kirknewton calling at intermediate stations & connecting at Kirknewton into the larger bus for Glasgow or Edinburgh
  
  

Please note: rail replacement at Motherwell will operate from the Royal Bank of Scotland on Hamilton Road for Saturday 3 May only

Sunday:

Amended service between routes below:

Glasgow Central High Level – Motherwell / Lanark

• An hourly, diverted train service will operate between Glasgow Central and Wishaw

• Trains will not call at Motherwell, Shieldmuir, Carluke or Lanark

• Buses replace trains between Bellshill and Lanark calling at intermediate stations via Motherwell

Balloch – Motherwell via Whifflet

• Buses replace trains between Whifflet and Motherwell

Milngavie - Motherwell via Hamilton

• One train per hour will operate via Hamilton and divert to Larkhall

• These trains do not stop at Airbles or Motherwell

• One train per hour will start/terminate at Rutherglen

• Buses replace trains between Dalmarnock and Motherwell calling all stations via Hamilton

Balloch – Larkhall via Hamilton

Train service operates as normal

Monday:

• Buses replace trains between Wishaw and Lanark

Glasgow Central – Edinburgh (via Carstairs)

• Buses replace trains between Glasgow Central and Haymarket

• Mini-buses operate between Edinburgh and Kirknewton calling at intermediate stations & connecting at Kirknewton into the larger bus for Glasgow or Edinburgh
