Description
Engineering work is taking place at several places in the Motherwell area, closing various lines throughout the day.
Until 13:00, the following routes are affected as follows:
Balloch / Milngavie – Motherwell via Hamilton
Trains on this route will be diverted to Larkhall, and will now no longer call at Airbles or Motherwell. Diverted trains will run direct between Hamilton Central and Larkhall, and will not call at Chatelherault or Merryton.
Buses replace trains between Hamilton Central and Motherwell, calling at Airbles
Balloch – Motherwell via Whifflet
Train services on this route will run between Balloch and Whifflet.
Buses replace trains between Motherwell and Whifflet.
All day Sunday:
Glasgow Central – Lanark
Before 1300:
Buses will replace trains between Glasgow Central and Lanark, calling at Cambuslang, Uddingston, Bellshill, Motherwell, Shieldmuir, Wishaw and Carluke.
After 1300:
Train services will run between Glasgow Central and Wishaw.
Buses will replace trains between Wishaw and Lanark, calling at Carluke.
