Description
Engineering work is taking place between Newcastle and Edinburgh, closing some lines.
CrossCountry:
No trains will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh.
Replacement buses will operate between Newcastle and Berwick-upon-Tweed / Edinburgh.
LNER:
No trains will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh via Berwick-upon-Tweed.
An hourly service will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh via Carlisle, with extended journey times.
Replacement buses will run between Newcastle and Edinburgh, calling at Morpeth, Alnmouth, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Reston and Dunbar.
Lumo:
Trains will operate to a reduced / amended service between London Kings Cross and Newcastle only.
Northern:
Buses will replace trains between Newcastle and Morpeth / Chathill all weekend.
