Between Manchester Piccadilly and New Mills Central / Sheffield, between Manchester Piccadilly and Buxton / Manchester Airport / Macclesfield / Stoke-on-Trent, and also between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Manchester Piccadilly and Hadfield, closing some lines.

The following services will be affected:

  • The 22:17 Stoke-on-Trent to Manchester Piccadilly service will terminate at Stockport

  • The 22:47 Sheffield to Manchester Piccadilly service will divert between Chinley and Manchester Piccadilly and will not call at New Mills Central, Strines, Marple, Romiley, Bredbury, Brinnington, Reddish North, Ryder Brow, Belle Vue, or Ashburys. A replacement bus service will run from Chinley to Manchester Piccadilly, calling at all stations

  • The 23:10 Manchester Piccadilly to Buxton service will depart earlier than usual at 23:08

  • The 23:13 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will depart earlier than usual at 23:11

  • The 23:16 Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield service will not run. You should use the 21:55 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service instead, which will be extended to serve Macclesfield

  • The 23:18 New Mills Central to Manchester Piccadilly service will not run, and will be replaced entirely with a bus service

  • The 23:25 Manchester Piccadilly to New Mills Central service will not run, and will be replaced entirely with a bus service

  • The 23:37 Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport service will not run. You should use the 22:22 Blackpool North to Manchester Airport service instead, which will call additionally at Mauldeth Road, Burnage, East Didsbury, Gatley, and Heald Green
