Between London Paddington and Reading / Newbury / Bedwyn / Frome / Bristol Temple Meads / Exeter St Davids / Paignton / Plymouth / Penzance, between Reading / Newbury and Bedwyn, between Gloucester and Westbury / Salisbury, and also between Swindon and Westbury

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Theale and Bedwyn, closing all lines.

There will be no service between Theale and Bedwyn. Due to this, and the associated train diversions, services across the Great Western Railway network will run to an amended / reduced timetable.

Between London Paddington and Newbury / Bedwyn

Services between London Paddington / Reading and Newbury / Bedford will run between London Paddington / Reading and Theale only. These trains will run to an amended and reduced timetable, some trains will run earlier than usual.

Replacement bus services will operate between Theale and Newbury / Bedwyn, calling at all stations.

Between Gloucester/ Cardiff Central / Bristol Temple Meads / Swindon and Westbury / Salisbury

As a result of the diversion of long distance trains that usually run via Newbury to run via Chippenham, local trains between Swindon and Bristol will be replaced by buses between Swindon and Westbury. Connect with trains to / from Bristol at Westbury.

Between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids / Paignton / Plymouth / Penzance

Services between London Paddington and Plymouth / Penzance via Newbury will be diverted between Reading and Taunton via Bristol Temple Meads.

Services between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids / Paignton / Plymouth via Newbury will be diverted between Reading and Westbury.

Replacement bus services will operate between Swindon and Pewsey.
