Amended late night / early morning Transport for Wales services in the Cardiff Central / Newport areas from Monday 25 August to Friday 29 August

Description

Engineering work is taking place overnight in the Newport area, closing some lines.

Due to the above works, the following services will run to an amended timetable, some journey times will be extended.

Customers are advised to check their journey carefully before travelling.

Monday to Thursday:

The following trains will be diverted between Newport and Cwmbran, extending journey times.

• 19:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central

• 20:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central

• 22:21 Cardiff Central to Crewe will depart Cardiff Central earlier at 22:12 and Newport at 22:32

• 22:24 Chester to Cardiff Central

• 23:15 Cardiff Central to Abergavenny

Tuesday to Friday:

• 00:30 Cardiff Central to Hereford will be diverted between Newport and Cwmbran with extended and altered journey times

• 04:32 Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly will depart earlier at 04:15 and Newport 04:35, before running as normal from Cwmbran onwards
