Description

Engineering work is taking place between Newport (South Wales) and Cwmbran, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday:

The 22:21 Cardiff Central to Crewe will depart Cardiff Central at 22:12 and Newport (South Wales) at 22:30 earlier before running to normal times from Cwmbran onwards.

The following trains will be diverted between Newport (South Wales) and Cwmbran with extended and altered journey times:

• The 19:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central,

• The 20:30 Manchester Piccadilly to Cardiff Central

• The 22:24 Chester to Cardiff Central

• The 23:15 Cardiff Central to Abergavenny

Tuesday to Friday:

The 00:30 Cardiff Central to Hereford will be diverted between Newport (South Wales) and Cwmbran, with extended and altered journey times:

The 04:32 Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly will depart Cardiff Central at 04:15 and Newport (South Wales) at 04:35, earlier than normal before running as normal from Cwmbran to Manchester Piccadilly.
