Description

Engineering work is taking place between Nottingham and Newark Castle, closing some lines.

As a result the following amendments will apply:

  • The 09:00 Lincoln to Nottingham service will terminate at Newark Castle. A rail replacement bus service will run between Newark Castle and Nottingham that departs Newark Castle 09:38, Rolleston 09:54, Fiskerton 10:02, Bleasby 10:13, Thurgarton 10:21, Lowdham 10:32, Burton Joyce 10:41, Carlton 10:52 and arrives Nottingham 11:02.

  • The 09:18 Nottingham to Norwich will start from Peterborough at 10:20. A rail replacement bus service will run from Nottingham to connect with the train service and departs Nottingham 08:28, Grantham 09:20 and arrives Peterborough 10:05

  • The 09:33 Nottingham to Lincoln will start from Newark Castle at 10:10. A rail replacement bus service will run from Nottingham to connect with the train service and departs Nottingham 08:36, Carlton 08:47, Burton Joyce 08:58, Lowdham 09:07, Thurgarton 09:18, Bleasby 09:26, Fiskerton 09:37, Rolleston 09:45 and arrives Newark Castle 10:00.

There will be an amended service between Nottingham and Skegness until 12:30 with altered departure/arrival times and some rail replacement running instead of the train services.
