Description

Engineering work is taking place between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport / Reading, closing some lines.

Elizabeth line:

The following amendments will apply:

  • Services between Abbey Wood and Maidenhead will terminate / start at London Paddington Lower Level.

  • A reduced service will run between Abbey Wood and Heathrow Terminal 4, of only 2 trains per hour.

  • A reduced service will call at Maidenhead, Burnham, Slough, Langley, West Drayton and Heathrow Terminal 4 of only 2 trains per hour.

  • A reduced service will call at Hayes & Harlington, Southall and Ealing Broadway of only 6 trains per hour.

  • A reduced service will call at Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 of only 4 trains per hour.

  • Services between Abbey Wood and Reading will now call at Iver.

  • Acton Main line, West Ealing and Hanwell will have no service.

Great Western Railway:

Throughout the day, an amended and reduced timetable will run to / from London Paddington. Trains will be retimed to run up to 15 minutes earlier or later than usual.

Local stopping services that normally run between London Paddington and Didcot Parkway will run between Reading and Didcot Parkway only. Other trains to / from London Paddington will make calls at local stations between London Paddington and Reading.

Additional trains will run between Reading and Oxford, calling at local stations.

Heathrow Express:

Services between London Paddington and Heathrow Terminals 2 & 3 and Heathrow Terminal 5 will run to an amended timetable. A reduced service will operate from approximately 08:00 until 22:00.
