Description
Engineering work is taking place between Parson Street and Bristol Temple Meads, closing all lines.
CrossCountry:
Trains will be diverted, extending journey times by up to 60 minutes.
Update: Please note, a revised CrossCountry service will be operating on these dates due to industrial action.

Update: Great Western Railway services will be affected by industrial action on Sunday 4 February. Great Western Railway advise customers to travel before the weekend or after Sunday. A limited service will run on some routes only, please check your entire journey before you travel as the following advice may have changed.
Except where shown below, trains between Weston-super-Mare and London Paddington will start / terminate at Bristol Temple Meads.
Except where shown below, trains between Taunton and Bristol Temple Meads / Cardiff Central will run between Taunton and Weston-super-Mare and then between Bristol Temple Meads and Cardiff Central.
Trains between Weston-super-Mare and Severn Beach will operate between Bristol Temple Meads and Severn Beach only.
Saturday only:
Trains between Filton Abbey Wood, Stapleton Road, Lawrence Hill and Bristol Temple Meads will NOT run.
Saturday:
The 05:35 Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance will start from Taunton.
The 06:28 Bristol Parkway to Weston-super-Mare will terminate Bristol Temple Meads.
The 06:39 Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance will depart EARLIER at 06:06 and will divert between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton (via Westbury – NOT calling). It will NOT call Weston-super-Mare, Highbridge & Burnham and Bridgwater. Normal timings departing Taunton and beyond.
The 06:50 Frome to Filton Abbey Wood will terminate Bristol Temple Meads.
The 07:41 Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance will depart EARLIER at 06:56 and will divert between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton (via Westbury – NOT calling). Normal timings departing Taunton and beyond.
The 09:18 Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington will NOT run.
The 09:45, 16.45 and 18:45 Bristol Temple Meads to Salisbury will depart 1 minute EARLIER than normal.
The 10:45 London Paddington to Weston-super-Mare will NOT run.
The 12:35 London Paddington to Exeter St Davids will terminate Taunton.
The 13:43 Exeter St Davids to London Paddington will start from Taunton and operate later than normal throughout.
The 17:50 Plymouth to Bristol Temple Meads will divert between Taunton and Bristol Temple Meads (via Westbury – NOT calling). It will NOT call Bridgwater and Weston-super-Mare and will arrive Bristol Temple Meads later than normal.
The 17:50 Penzance to London Paddington will divert between Taunton and Chippenham (via Westbury – NOT calling). It will NOT call Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa. Rail connection Chippenham-Bath Spa-Bristol Temple Meads.
The 19:10 Taunton to Gloucester will NOT operate between Weston-super-Mare and Bristol Temple Meads.
The 20:10 Weston-super-Mare to Bristol Temple Meads will NOT run.
The 20:30 London Paddington to Exeter St Davids will divert between Bristol Temple Meads* and Taunton, NOT calling at Nailsea & Backwell and stations to Bridgwater. After departure from Bristol Temple Meads it will call additionally at Bath Spa(pick up only). It will arrive / depart Taunton and beyond later than normal. Road transport from Bristol Temple Meads to Nailsea & Backwell and all stations to Bridgwater (continues to Taunton).
The 22:15 Bristol Temple Meads to Frome will depart 22:21 and will operate later throughout.
Sunday:
The 08:00 Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance will depart EARLIER at 07:40 and will divert between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton (via Westbury – NOT calling). It will NOT call Nailsea & Backwell and stations to Bridgwater. Normal timings departing Taunton and beyond. Road transport from Weston-super-Mare, Highbridge & Burnham and Bridgwater to Taunton to connect into the diverted train. Also road transport from Bristol Temple
Meads and stations to Bridgwater (continues to Taunton).The 08:29 Weston-super-Mare to London Paddington will start from Bristol Temple Meads.
The 08:51 (departing earlier at 08:50) London Paddington to Penzance will call additionally Tiverton Parkway.
The 09:15 and 23:12 Bristol Temple Meads to Weston-super-Mare will NOT run.
The 09:55 Bristol Temple Meads to Penzance will start from Exeter St Davids.
The 13:14 Plymouth to London Paddington will call additionally Castle Cary, Westbury and Pewsey.
The 13:33 Exeter St Davids to London Paddington will NOT run.
The 17:30 London Paddington to Weston-super-Mare will NOT run.
The 17:35 Severn Beach to Exeter St Davids service will terminate at Bristol Temple Meads.
The 20:18 Plymouth to London Paddington will divert between Taunton and Chippenham, NOT calling at Weston-super-Mare, Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa. It will call additionally at Westbury (set down only) for a rail connection to Bath Spa.
The 21:05 and 23:49 Weston-super-Mare to Bristol Temple Meads will NOT run. A separate train will operate from Bristol Temple Meads at 22:30, calling Bath Spa (and Chippenham) to connect into the diverted train at Swindon.
Rail replacement buses will run between:
Weston-super-Mare and Bristol Temple Meads (fast)
Weston-super-Mare and Bristol Temple Meads (calling at Worle, Yatton and Nailsea & Backwell)
If you are travelling to / from Parson Street or Bedminster you should use local buses to complete your journey.
CrossCountry Trains will be diverting their trains between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton (via Westbury – NOT calling) thus providing through trains (mostly hourly) between Bristol Temple Meads and Taunton (and beyond).
