Description
Engineering work is taking place between Wolverhampton and Stafford, closing all lines from 18:00 on Saturday.
Avanti West Coast:
From 18:00 on Saturday and all day Sunday, no trains will run between Wolverhampton and Stafford via Penkridge.
Services between London Euston and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will operate between London Euston and Wolverhampton and also between Preston and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.
Early morning and late night services will operate between Stafford / Crewe and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.
Rail replacement buses will operate between Wolverhampton and Stafford.
Please note that Avanti West Coast will be running an amended service on these days due to additional engineering work taking place at London Euston.
CrossCountry:
Rail replacement buses will be in operation between Wolverhampton and Stoke-on-Trent, calling at Stafford.
London Northwestern Railway:
After 18:00 on Saturday and all day on Sunday, train services between Birmingham New Street and Crewe / Liverpool Lime Street will run between Stafford and Crewe / Liverpool Lime Street only.
Rail replacement buses will operate between Wolverhampton and Stafford.
Passengers are advised to travel on other services between Birmingham New Street and Wolverhampton.
After 10:30 on Sunday, trains from Stafford to Crewe via Stoke-on-Trent are retimed to depart hourly from Stafford and will run earlier to Crewe.
Please note that London Northwestern Railway will be running an amended service to and from London Euston on these days due to additional engineering work.
