Description

Engineering work is taking place between Euxton Balshaw Lane and Preston, closing all lines on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Saturday:

The 23:15 Liverpool Lime Street to Preston service will terminate at Wigan North Western. A bus will be provided from Wigan North Western to Preston.

The 23:17 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service will terminate at Buckshaw Parkway. A bus will be provided from Buckshaw Parkway to Blackpool North.

Sunday:

The 07:37 Manchester Airport to Blackpool North service will terminate at Buckshaw Parkway. A bus will be provided from Buckshaw Parkway to Blackpool North.

The 07:53 Blackpool North to Manchester Oxford Road service will start from Buckshaw Parkway at 09:16, and will run later than normally advertised throughout. A bus will be provided from Preston to Buckshaw Parkway, departing at 08:30 to connect with the train at Buckshaw Parkway.

The 07:57 Blackpool North to Liverpool Lime Street service will run between Blackpool North and Preston, and between Wigan North Western (starting at 08:42) and Liverpool Lime Street only. For travel between Preston and Wigan North Western, you can use the next available Northern service, at no extra cost.
