Description

Engineering work is taking place between Crewe / Preston and Carlisle, closing various lines.

Avanti West Coast:

Saturday

Services between London Euston and Blackpool North / Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will run between London Euston and Preston only.

Replacement bus services will run between Preston and Carlisle / Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

Sunday

Services between London Euston and Blackpool North / Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will run between London Euston and Crewe / Preston only.
Services between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly via Crewe will not run.

Replacement bus services will run between Crewe and Warrington Bank Quay / Wigan North Western / Preston, and between Preston and Carlisle / Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

ScotRail:

Buses will replace trains between Carlisle and Dumfries.

TransPennine Express:

Services between Liverpool Lime Street / Manchester Airport / Manchester Piccadilly and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will run between Manchester Airport and Oxenholme Lake District only.

Replacement bus services will run between Oxenholme Lake District and Carlisle, and between Carlisle and Edinburgh.
