Description

Engineering work is taking place between Carlisle and Lockerbie, closing some lines.

The following amended service will operate:

Avanti West Coast:

Thursday 1 - Friday 2 January:

1 train per hour between Lockerbie and Glasgow Central (Thursday and Friday).

1 train per hour between Lockerbie and Edinburgh (Friday only).

You can use your ticket on TransPennine Express trains between Carlisle and Lockerbie at no extra cost.

Saturday 3 - Wednesday 14 January:

A 2 hourly train service will run between Lockerbie and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

Buses replace trains between Carlisle and Lockerbie (Sat 3 – Tue 6 January)

You can use your ticket on TransPennine Express trains between Carlisle and Lockerbie at no extra cost.

TransPennine Express:

Thursday 1 January:

Buses will run between Carlisle and Edinburgh.

Friday 2 – Sunday 4 January:

A 2 hourly train service will run between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh via Motherwell, to access TransPennine Express services at Edinburgh.

Monday 5 – Tuesday 6 January:

Buses will run between Carlisle and Edinburgh.

Wednesday 7 to Wednesday 14 January:

A 2 hourly train service will operate between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.

Your ticket will be accepted at no extra cost on Avanti West Coast and TransPennine Express services between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.
