Buses replace trains between Reading and Guildford from late night from Friday 23 and all day Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 February

Between Reading and Gatwick Airport

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Ash, closing all lines.

Friday:

The 20:20 Reading to Shalford service will not run.

The 20:54 Reading to Gatwick Airport service will call additionally at Crowthorne, Sandhurst, Farnborough North, Ash and Shalford.

The 21:30 Shalford to Reading will not run. You should travel on earlier / later services.

Saturday and Sunday:

Trains between Reading and Redhill / Gatwick Airport will be reduced to an hourly frequency and will operate between Guildford and Gatwick Airport. A few trains will terminate / start Redhill with rail connections Redhill-Gatwick Airport.

Replacement buses will operate between Reading and Guildford:

• (2-hourly) Fast taking approximately 60 minutes.

• (2-hourly) Calling Wokingham, Blackwater, North Camp, Guildford.

• (2-hourly) Calling Wokingham and all stations to / from Ash then Guildford.

Last bus from Reading to Guildford will call at Wokingham, then all stations to Ash, then Guildford. It will then extend to set down only at all stations to Redhill, then Gatwick Airport.
