Description
Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Newbury, closing lines early on Sunday morning.
As a result:
Long distance:
The 08:04 London Paddington to Penzance service will depart earlier than usual at 07:51, and will divert to run via Swindon (not calling). It will not call at Newbury or Pewsey. For these stations, you should travel by the amended 08:44 London Paddington to Penzance service (details below)
The 08:44 London Paddington to Penzance service will depart earlier than usual at 08:31, and will additionally call at Newbury and Pewsey
Local trains:
The 08:06 Reading to Newbury service will not run. An earlier replacement bus will run from Reading at 07:51 to Newbury, calling at all stations except Newbury Racecourse. At Newbury, the bus connects with the 09:02 Newbury to Bedwyn train (see below)
The 08:33 Reading to Bedwyn service will be amended to start from Newbury at 09:02
