Great Western Railway between Reading and Basingstoke

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading West and Basingstoke, closing all lines early on Sunday morning. ​​​​​​​

As a result, the 07:37 Reading to Basingstoke service will not run. An earlier replacement bus will run from Reading to Basingstoke, calling at Reading Green Park, Mortimer and Bramley.

For Reading West, you should travel on the 08:06 Reading to Newbury service or other train services.

For the rest of the day, trains between Reading and Basingstoke will run 1 minute later than usual.
