Great Western Railway between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Reading West and Bedwyn, closing all lines. ​​​​​​​

As a result the following amendments will apply:

  • 05:08 Reading to Bedwyn will NOT run. An earlier rail replacement bus service will run from Reading at 04:55 to Newbury, calling all stations, to connect into the train below.

  • 05:39 Reading to Bedwyn will depart later than normal at 05:55, call Reading West then operate non-stop to Newbury before continuing to Kintbury, Hungerford and Bedwyn.

  • 06:08 Bedwyn to Reading will start from Newbury at 06:25. An earlier rail replacement bus service will run between Bedwyn (at 05:30), Hungerford and Kintbury to connect into the train.

  • 06:35 Bedwyn to Newbury and 06:58 Newbury to London Paddington will depart a few minutes later than normal, at 06:38 and 07:00 respectively.
