Description

Engineering work is taking place between Milton Keynes Central and Rugby, closing 2 out of 4 lines. Work will also be taking place in the Birmingham International / Coventry area, closing some lines.

Avanti West Coast:

The following reduced train service will run via Northampton:

1 train per hour between London Euston and Glasgow Central via Nuneaton

1 train per hour between London Euston – Glasgow Central via Birmingham New Street

1 train per hour between London Euston and Liverpool Lime Street

2 trains per hour between London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly (1 via Crewe and 1 via Stoke-on-Trent)

1 train per hour between London Euston and Chester (No train service between Chester and Holyhead), replacement bus plan to be confirmed

CrossCountry:

Trains will be amended, and will not call at Birmingham International or Coventry.

Replacement buses will run between Leamington Spa and Coventry / Birmingham International.

London Northwestern Railway:

Until 08:45 train services between London Euston and Northampton will run between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central only.

The 07:24 London Euston to Birmingham New Street service is retimed to depart from London Euston at 07:22 and will run between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central and between Northampton and Birmingham International. Rail replacement buses will operate between Milton Keynes Central and Northampton and between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street.

Most train services between London Euston and Crewe will run between Northampton / Rugby and Crewe only. You are advised to travel on other services between London Euston and Northampton / Rugby.

Some trains between London Euston and Milton Keynes Central / Northampton are slightly retimed.

Trains between London Euston / Northampton and Birmingham New Street will run between London Euston / Northampton and Birmingham International only (to an amended timetable).

Rail replacement buses will operate between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street.

West Midlands Railway:

Train services between Birmingham International and Rugeley Trent Valley will run between Birmingham New Street and Rugeley Trent Valley only.

Transport for Wales:

Trains between Birmingham International and Birmingham New Street to start / terminate at Birmingham New Street.
