Description

Salford Central station will be closed from Monday 10 February to Tuesday 22 April, on Sunday 27 April, and Sunday 4 May, as Network Rail and Northern continue the upgrade of Salford Central station.

No trains will call at Salford Central for the duration of the engineering works.

Salford Central was due to reopen on Monday 21 April but due to some last-minute technical issues, trains will not be stopping here until start of service on Wednesday 23 April. Customers can continue to use train tickets on Bee Network buses whilst the station remains closed.

If you are travelling to / from Salford Central during this time, you should use alternative nearby stations such as Salford Crescent, Deansgate, Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Victoria.

Your ticket will be accepted on any Bee Network buses between Salford Central and Salford Crescent / Manchester City Centre / Manchester Oxford Road during this time.
