Buses replace South Western Railway services via Wimbledon on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September

All South Western Railway services to / from / via Wimbledon

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Wimbledon area, closing all lines.

On both Saturday and Sunday, long distance trains to / from London Waterloo that usually run via Wimbledon will be amended to run on alternative routes, and will be retimed.

Saturday:

Buses will replace trains between:

• Clapham Junction and Surbiton

• Clapham Junction and Worcester Park

• Clapham Junction and Chessington South

Sunday:

Buses will replace trains between:

• Clapham Junction and Surbiton

• Clapham Junction and Hampton Court

• Clapham Junction and Worcester Park

• Clapham Junction and Chessington South

• Addlestone and Weybridge

• Clapham Junction and Effingham Junction

Customers travelling on these routes are advised to check their journeys carefully, as there may be fewer services than usual on these routes due to a lack of available rail replacement buses.

Services are also expected to be much busier than usual.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services for Saturday 19 September:

• London Underground District line between Wimbledon and Westminster, then change for the Jubilee line to London Waterloo

• London buses between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon / Worcester Park / Hampton Court / Chessington South / Surbiton
