Amended South Western Railway services in the Guildford area on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 August.

London Waterloo / Guildford and Alton / Basingstoke / Portsmouth & Southsea

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Brookwood and Alton, closing some lines.

The following services are affected:

Saturday

• London Waterloo to Basingstoke services will run an amended timetable. Some services will call additionally at Clapham Junction / West Byfleet.

• Basingstoke to London Waterloo services will run an amended timetable. Some services will call additionally at West Byfleet / Clapham Junction.

• Portsmouth & Southsea to London Waterloo services will run later than usual from Clapham Junction onward.

The following services will not run:

• Guildford to Farnham

• Ascot (Berks) to Aldershot

• Alton to London Waterloo
  

Buses will operate between:

• Alton and Farnborough (Main)

• Ascot (Berks) and Guildford

• Guildford and Aldershot

Sunday

The following services will not run:

• Ascot (Berks) to Guildford

• Woking to Alton

• Alton to Woking

• Guildford to Ascot (Berks)
  

Buses will operate between:

• Farnborough and Alton

• Ascot (Berks) and Aldershot
