South Western Railway between Poole / Southampton Central and Eastleigh / Winchester / Basingstoke / London Waterloo, between Weymouth and Eastleigh / London Waterloo, between Bournemouth and Southampton Central / Winchester, between Southampton Central and Portsmouth & Southsea / Portsmouth Harbour, between Salisbury and Romsey, and also between Romsey and Romsey (circular services)

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Hinton Admiral and Southampton (Saturday) / Fareham (Sunday), closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

On Saturday, buses will replace trains between Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.

On Sunday, buses replace train between Eastleigh / Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth.

Great Western Railway:

Great Western Railway services are unaffected by work on Saturday, and will run as normal.

Sunday:

Trains between Cardiff Central / Bristol Temple Meads and Portsmouth Harbour will be diverted between Romsey and Fareham (via Chandlers Ford / Eastleigh, additionally calling at both stations). These trains will not call at Southampton Central.

Replacement buses will run between Eastleigh and Southampton Central.

Additionally, the 19:34 Bristol Temple Meads to Portsmouth Harbour service will not run. You should instead travel by earlier or later services, at no extra cost.

South Western Railway:

Saturday:

No trains will run between Brockenhurst and Bournemouth

Replacement buses will run between:

• Southampton Airport Parkway and Bournemouth (direct)

• Brockenhurst and Bournemouth

Sunday:

Replacement buses will run between:

• Eastleigh / Southampton Central and Bournemouth

• Eastleigh / Southampton Central and New Milton

• Southampton Central and Romsey

• Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier

• Southampton Central and Woolston

Southern:

Southern services are unaffected by work on Saturday.

On Sunday, buses will replace trains between Woolston and Southampton Central
