Southern between Barnham / Brighton / Littlehampton and Southampton Central

South Western Railway between London Waterloo / Basingstoke / Winchester / Eastleigh and Southampton Central / Poole, between London Waterloo / Eastleigh and Weymouth, between Winchester / Southampton Central and Bournemouth, between Southampton Central and Portsmouth & Southsea / Portsmouth Harbour, between Salisbury and Romsey, and also between Romsey and Romsey (circular services)

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Southampton Central area, closing all lines.

No trains will run between Romsey / Eastleigh / Fareham and Southampton Central / Bournemouth all weekend.

CrossCountry:

Trains between Eastleigh and Bournemouth will not run.

Rail replacement buses will run between Eastleigh, Southampton Airport Parkway, Southampton Central, and Bournemouth.

Great Western Railway:

Trains between Cardiff Central / Bristol Temple Meads and Portsmouth Harbour will be diverted between Romsey and Fareham to run via and call additionally at Chandlers Ford / Eastleigh. These trains will not call at Southampton Central. Some services may be retimed.

Rail replacement buses will run hourly between Eastleigh and Southampton Central.

Southern:

Trains between Brighton and Southampton Central will be diverted to run between Brighton and Portsmouth & Southsea, calling additionally at Fratton.

Rail replacement buses will run between Havant and Southampton Central.

South Western Railway:

Saturday and Sunday:

Buses will replace trains between:

• Eastleigh / Southampton Central and Bournemouth

• Eastleigh and New Milton

• Fareham and Southampton Central

• Southampton Central and Romsey

Sunday:

Buses will replace trains between:

• Eastleigh and Southampton Central

• Brockenhurst and Lymington Pier
