Description
Engineering work is taking place work on the lines through New Cross, blocking the lines used by trains towards London Bridge, Waterloo East and London Charing Cross. London Cannon Street will be closed all weekend.
On Sunday, the lines between Lewisham and Chislehurst, and between Hither Green and Sidcup will also be closed.
Paddock Wood line:
Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate / Dover via Tonbridge will be diverted to run to / from London Victoria. These trains will stop additionally at Orpington and Hildenborough. Please note that on Sunday, only trains between London Victoria and Dover will stop at Hildenborough.
Hastings line:
Trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings will run to / from London Bridge, and will run non-stop between London Bridge and Tonbridge via an alternative route through East Croydon and Redhill. Trains which usually only run between London Charing Cross and Tunbridge Wells will not run.
Maidstone East line:
On Saturday only, trains between London Charing Cross and Maidstone East will run from London Victoria, and call additionally at Bromley South.
Woolwich line:
Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Greenwich will not run. Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Woolwich. On Sunday, these trains will be extended to run to / from Gravesend.
Bexleyheath line:
Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath, and between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Bexleyheath (Saturday only) will not run. Trains between London Victoria and Dartford will run normally so trains on the Bexleyheath line will be every 30 minutes all weekend.
Grove Park line:
Trains between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks via Grove Park will run to / from London Victoria, running non-stop between London Victoria and Lewisham. On Sunday, these trains will run non-stop between London Victoria and Petts Wood. On Saturday, trains between London Cannon Street and Orpington will not run, so trains on the Grove Park line will be every 30 minutes.
Sidcup line:
On Saturday, trains between London Charing Cross and Gravesend via Sidcup will run to / from London Victoria. Trains which usually only run between London Charing Cross and Dartford will not run, so trains on the Sidcup line will be every 30 minutes. On Sunday, trains will only be able to run between Sidcup and Dartford.
Hayes line:
Trains between London Charing Cross and Hayes (Kent) will run from London Victoria instead and will run every 30 minutes.
Ticket acceptance:
You can use London Underground services between Victoria, Charing Cross, Cannon Street, Embankment, Waterloo, Southwark and London Bridge at no extra cost.
You can also use Docklands Light Railway services between Greenwich and Lewisham.
Accessible replacement buses will run between:
Saturday:
Greenwich and Lewisham, calling at New Cross and St Johns
Greenwich and Sidcup, calling at all stations
Sunday:
Lewisham and Orpington, calling at all stations
