No Great Western Railway services via Southampton Central on Saturday 30 March

Great Western Railway between Cardiff Central / Bristol Temple Meads / Westbury and Portsmouth Harbour

Description

Engineering work is taking place between St Denys and Fareham, closing various lines.

As a result, most Great Western Railway services that run via Southampton Central will be diverted to run via Chandlers Ford and Eastleigh, calling at both. You should use other train services between these stations and Southampton Central.

Additionally:

• The 07:05 Westbury to Southampton Central and 08:30 Southampton Central to Bristol Temple Meads will operate as normal, otherwise for Southampton Central you should change at Eastleigh for South Western Railway connections.

• The 21:23 Portsmouth Harbour to Westbury will divert between Eastleigh and Romsey, not calling at Southampton Airport Parkway and Southampton Central. It will call additionally at Chandlers Ford.
