Description

Engineering work is taking place between Stalybridge and Mirfield, closing all lines.

Northern:

Saturday:

Northern are not affected by this engineering work on Saturday.

Sunday:

Buses replace trains between Huddersfield and Lockwood.

TransPennine Express:

Saturday and Sunday:

Replacement buses will run between Huddersfield and Manchester Airport.

Saturday:

• Services will be diverted between Leeds and York, increasing journey times

• Services to / from Scarborough will run between York and Scarborough only

• Services to / from Redcar Central will run between Manchester Victoria and Redcar Central only

Sunday:

No trains will call at Huddersfield and will be diverted to call at Brighouse with connecting rail replacement bus services.

The following services will be amended:

• Services between Liverpool Lime Street and Hull will run between Leeds and Hull

• Manchester Victoria to Scarborough will run via Brighouse

• Manchester Victoria to Redcar Central will run via Brighouse

• Manchester Piccadilly to Stalybridge will run via Guide Bridge

• Wakefield Kirkgate to York will run via Castleford

• Liverpool Lime Street to Newcastle will run via Brighouse (Additionally calling at Lea Green)
