Thameslink between Bedford and Brighton

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Bedford area, closing some lines. ​​​​​​​

East Midlands Railway:

Due to major engineering works, East Midlands Railway will operate a reduced timetable.

All EMR intercity trains will start or terminate at Bedford instead of London St Pancras International.

Some trains may also be making additional calls at Market Harborough, Kettering and Wellingborough.

EMR Connect trains will operate between Bedford / Kettering and Corby.

Trains may depart from stations earlier than usual and arrive at their destinations later than usual.

Buses will run between Bedford and Hitchin

If you are travelling between Luton Airport Parkway and Hitchin you should use Thameslink buses to complete your journey at no additional cost.

Thameslink:

No trains will run between West Hampstead Thameslink and Bedford.

Rail replacement buses will run between:

• West Hampstead Thameslink and Harpenden

• Harpenden and Bedford (calling at Luton Airport Parkway and Luton)

• Harpenden and Luton (calling at Luton Airport Parkway)

• Harpenden and Potters Bar (calling at St Albans City)

• Luton Airport Parkway and Hitchin
