Description

Engineering work is taking place overnight between Bridgend and Port Talbot, closing some lines.

Monday to Thursday:

The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea will divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal. On Monday and Tuesday nights the train will incur 8 minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.

The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea will use this route as normal between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – not calling). On Monday and Tuesday nights the train will incur 8 minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.

The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea (also diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway, calling additionally at Chippenham and Bath Spa (drop off only) and will further divert between Cardiff Central and Bridgend (via Ninian Park – not calling) arriving / departing Bridgend and beyond later than normal. On Monday and Tuesday nights the train will incur 8 minutes additional journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot Parkway.

Tuesday to Friday:

The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington will arrive / depart Bridgend a few minutes later than normal. Normal timings arrive / depart Cardiff Central and beyond.
