Description

Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

Monday to Thursday:

The 20:48 London Paddington to Swansea service will be diverted to run via Ninian Park, and will call at Bridgend and beyond a few minutes later than usual.

The 21:48 London Paddington to Swansea service on Wednesday and Thursday will have an 8 minute extended journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot.

The 22:49 London Paddington to Swansea service will divert between Swindon and Bristol Parkway. It will call additionally at Chippenham and Bath Spa (set down only), then arrive / depart Bristol Parkway and beyond later than normal, this train will also be diverted to run via Ninian Park, and will call at Bridgend and beyond a few minutes later than usual. On Wednesday and Thursday it will have an 8 minute extended journey time between Bridgend and Port Talbot.

Tuesday to Friday:

The 03:46 Swansea to London Paddington will arrive / depart Bridgend a few minutes later than normal. Normal timings arrive / depart Cardiff Central and beyond.
