Description
Engineering work is taking place between Swansea and Llanelli, closing various lines in the area overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.
Monday to Thursday:
The 18:35 Shrewsbury to Swansea service will terminate at Llanelli. A rail replacement bus will run between Llanelli and Swansea via Gowerton.
The 21:46 Fishguard Harbour to Cardiff Central service and the 23:20 Cardiff Central to Carmarthen service will be diverted between Llanelli and Port Talbot Parkway, not calling at Gowerton, Swansea, Llansamlet, Skewen, Neath or Briton Ferry. Rail replacement buses will run between Llanelli and Port Talbot Parkway via Swansea.
The 22:40 Swansea to Carmarthen service will be replaced by a bus throughout.
The 23:45 Swansea to Carmarthen service will be replaced by a bus throughout.
Tuesday to Friday:
The 04:38 Carmarthen to Swansea service will be replaced by a bus throughout.
The 04:47 Carmarthen to Shrewsbury service will depart Carmarthen earlier than usual at 04:39, calling earlier at Pembrey & Burry Port (04:58) and Llanelli (05:04), before running as normal from Bynea.
The 05:16 Swansea to Llandovery service will start from Llanelli at 05:30, with an earlier rail replacement bus from Swansea (04:50) and Gowerton (05:05), connecting with the train.
