Buses replace trains between Didcot Parkway and Swindon until 10:55 on Sunday 8 November

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Didcot Parkway and Swindon, closing all lines until 10:55.

No trains will run between Didcot Parkway and Swindon before 10:55.

From London Paddington:

The 07:59 London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads will start from Swindon (see next train). An earlier replacement bus will run from Didcot Parkway to Swindon to connect into the train.

The 08:33 London Paddington to Swansea and 09:35 London Paddington to Carmarthen will depart earlier at 07:53 and 08:33, respectively. They will divert between Reading and Bristol Parkway, not calling at Didcot Parkway and Swindon. They will call additionally at Bath Spa and Bristol Temple Meads before regaining normal route at Bristol Parkway.

The 09:00 London Paddington to Weston-super-Mare will start from Swindon. An earlier replacement bus will run from Didcot Parkway to Swindon to connect into the train. A separate train will operate at 09:00 from London Paddington to Reading and Didcot Parkway.

To London Paddington:

The 07:45 Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington will divert between Chippenham and Reading (via Melksham and Newbury – not calling at either), arriving London Paddington later than normal.

The 07:55 Swansea to London Paddington will divert between Bristol Parkway and Reading, not calling at Swindon. It will call additionally at Bristol Temple Meads and Bath Spa (pick up only), arriving London Paddington later than normal.

The 08:29 Weston-super-Mare to London Paddington and 08:30 Bristol Parkway to London Paddington will terminate at Swindon. A replacement bus service will run from Swindon to Didcot Parkway, in both cases, for onward connections to London Paddington.

The 08:35 Swansea to London Paddington will depart Cardiff Central and beyond later than normal.

The 08:37 Swindon to London Paddington will start from Didcot Parkway. An earlier replacement bus will run from Swindon to Didcot Parkway to connect into the train.

The 09:15 Swindon to London Paddington will start from Didcot Parkway.

The 09:55 Bristol Parkway to London Paddington will not run.

The 10:00 Bristol Temple Meads will depart 10:09 and operate later throughout.

Additional services:

The 10:20 Didcot Parkway to London Paddington. A replacement bus will run from Swindon to Didcot Parkway to connect.

The 11:20 Reading to London Paddington.
