Buses replace CrossCountry trains to / from Tamworth on Saturday 13 afternoon and Sunday 14 September

between Penzance and Leeds / York / Glasgow Central / Edinburgh / Aberdeen, between Plymouth and Leeds / Glasgow Central / Edinburgh / Dundee, between Cardiff Central and Derby / Nottingham, between Bristol Temple Meads and Edinburgh, between Birmingham New Street and Nottingham / York / Newcastle / Edinburgh, and also between Reading and Sheffield / York / Newcastle

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Birmingham New Street and Tamworth, closing some lines.

From 12:25 on Saturday until the end of service on Sunday, no trains will call at Tamworth.

Replacement bus services will replace CrossCountry trains between:

• Birmingham New Street and Tamworth

• Wilnecote and Tamworth

• Tamworth and Burton-on-Trent

• Willington and Derby (Saturday only)

Trains between Cardiff Central and Nottingham will be amended to run between Cardiff Central and Birmingham New Street, and between Derby and Nottingham.

Trains between Birmingham New Street and Derby / Nottingham (and beyond) will be diverted between Birmingham New Street and Burton-on-Trent and will not call at Tamworth.
