Description

Engineering work is taking place between Birmingham New Street and Tamworth, closing some lines.

All day on Sunday, no trains will call at Tamworth.

Replacement bus services will replace CrossCountry trains between:

  • Birmingham New Street and Tamworth

  • Wilnecote and Tamworth

  • Tamworth and Burton-on-Trent

Trains between Cardiff Central and Nottingham will be amended to run between Cardiff Central and Birmingham New Street, and between Derby and Nottingham.

Trains between Birmingham New Street and North East England / Scotland will be diverted between Birmingham New Street and Burton-on-Trent, and will not call at Tamworth. Journey times will be extended by up to an hour.
