Buses replace trains between Three Bridges and Brighton on Sunday 29 November

Southern between London Victoria and Brighton / Worthing / Littlehampton / Portsmouth Harbour / Eastbourne / Hastings / Ore, and also between Haywards Heath and Littlehampton / Eastbourne

Thameslink between Cambridge / Bedford / London Bridge and Brighton

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Three Bridges and Brighton, closing all lines.

Southern:

All day on Sunday, no trains will run between Three Bridges and Brighton / Hove / Lewes.

Direct Southern trains will run between London Victoria and Brighton, diverted via Horsham, Littlehampton and Hove, with extended journey times.

Replacement buses will run between:

• Three Bridges and Preston Park

• Three Bridges and Lewes

• Balcombe and Brighton

• Haywards Heath and Plumpton and between Plumpton and Lewes

• (And only at the start and end of the day when direct trains via Littlehampton are not running) Three Bridges and Brighton

Southern tickets will be accepted on Southeastern trains between Hastings and London at no extra cost.

Journey times will be increased when using replacement buses.

Thameslink:

Buses will replace trains between Three Bridges and Brighton all day.

A reduced Thameslink service will run between Gatwick Airport and Three Bridges.
