Amended late night trains in the Transport for Wales in the Crewe / Shrewsbury / Chester area from Monday 2 to Thursday 5 February

Transport for Wales between Birmingham International and Manchester Piccadilly, between Shrewsbury and Chester, and between Cardiff Central / Shrewsbury and Manchester Piccadilly

Description

Engineering work is taking place at various locations in the Shrewsbury / Crewe / Chester area, closing some lines overnight from Monday evening until Friday morning.

As a result:

• The 20:10 Cardiff Central to Manchester Piccadilly service will terminate at Crewe. A replacement bus will run from Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly

• The 21:09 Birmingham International to Manchester Piccadilly service will be diverted to run via Crewe, with a replacement bus running from Shrewsbury to Chester

• The 22:32 Manchester Piccadilly to Shrewsbury service will not run. You should use alternative train services.

• The 23:37 Shrewsbury to Chester service will not run, and will be replaced by a bus
