Buses replace Avanti West Coast trains between Warrington Bank Quay and Preston on Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Wigan North Western area, closing all lines.

The following amended service will operate.

1 train per hour will operate between Birmingham International and Warrington Bank Quay.

2 trains per hour will operate between Preston and Edinburgh.

Services between London Euston and Glasgow Central via Tamworth will be retimed and diverted via Manchester Piccadilly and Bolton, additionally calling at Crewe, Stockport, Oxenholme Lake District and Penrith North Lake.

A replacement bus service will operate between:

Warrington Bank Quay and Preston, calling at Wigan North Western.
