Description
Engineering work is taking place in the Wakefield area, closing all lines.
CrossCountry:
Sunday before 12:15:
Trains will not call at Wakefield Westgate.
Trains will be diverted. Journey times may be extended by up to 60 minutes.
Rail replacement buses will run between Sheffield and Wakefield Westgate.
Grand Central:
The following services will run to an amended timetable:
Saturday:
The 08:46 and 10:23 Bradford Interchange to London Kings Cross services
The 10:48, 15:25, 16:27 London Kings Cross to Bradford Interchange services
Sunday:
All Grand Central services between London Kings Cross and Bradford Interchange will run to an amended timetable, with trains running up to 25 minutes earlier or later than usual.
This is a result of the trains being diverted in the Wakefield Westgate area.
LNER:
An hourly service will run between London Kings Cross and Leeds via a diversionary route between Doncaster and Leeds. Services will not call at Wakefield Westgate.
Rail replacement buses will run between Doncaster and Wakefield Westgate.
Northern:
All day Saturday and after 12:10 on Sunday:
Buses will replace trains between Moorthorpe / Doncaster and Wakefield Westgate.
Before 12:10 on Sunday:
Buses will replace trains between Moorthorpe / Doncaster and Leeds, and also between Streethouse and Leeds via Wakefield Westgate.
