Description
Engineering work is taking place between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh, closing various lines.
Avanti West Coast:
No Avanti West Coast trains will run between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.
Buses will replace trains between Preston and Carlisle and also between Carlisle and Glasgow Central. You can use TransPennine Express buses between Carlisle and Edinburgh at no extra cost.
Trains between London Euston / Birmingham New Street and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh will run between Milton Keynes Central / Birmingham New Street and Carlisle, calling additionally at Rugby, Stafford, Crewe, Penrith North Lakes, and Oxenholme Lake District.
ScotRail:
Buses replace trains between Carlisle and Dumfries.
TransPennine Express:
No TransPennine Express trains will run between Carlisle and Glasgow Central / Edinburgh.
