Buses replace trains between Woking and Basingstoke / Aldershot from Saturday 28 December to Sunday 5 January

South Western Railway between London Waterloo and Basingstoke / Portsmouth Harbour / Poole / Weymouth / Salisbury / Exeter St Davids, between Alton and Woking, between Reading and Salisbury, and between Ascot and Guildford

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Woking and Farnborough Main, closing all lines.

Saturday 28 December to Friday 3 January:

Buses will replace trains between:

• Woking and Farnborough Main

• Woking and Basingstoke

• Woking and Aldershot

A shuttle train service will run between Farnborough Main and Basingstoke.

Trains between London Waterloo and Weymouth will be diverted to run via Guildford, Havant and Fareham, calling additionally at these stations.

Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 January:

The following replacement bus service will be in operation:

Saturday:

• Woking and Basingstoke

• Woking and Aldershot

Sunday:

• Weybridge and Basingstoke

• Woking and Winchester

• Woking and Andover

• Weybridge and Aldershot

• Weybridge and Guildford
