Description
Engineering work is taking place between Dorchester West and Weymouth, closing some lines.
As a result, train services between Bristol Temple Meads / Swindon / Westbury and Weymouth will start / terminate at Dorchester West.
Additionally, the 08:01 Weymouth to Cardiff Central service will start at Yeovil Pen Mill, and the 17:53 Weymouth to Bristol Temple Meads will start at Westbury.
Replacement bus services will run between Yeovil Pen Mill / Upwey and Weymouth. Journey times between Yeovil Pen Mill and Weymouth is 68 to 73 minutes.
If you are travelling to / from Thornford, Yetminster, Chetnole and Maiden Newton you should use replacement bus services provided by South Western Railway, running between Dorchester South, Upwey and Weymouth.
Customers should make their own way (approximately half a mile) between Dorchester West and Dorchester South stations.
