Description
Flooding between Abercynon and Aberdare means all lines are closed. Trains between these stations will be cancelled or revised.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
You may use your ticket at no extra cost on Stagecoach Bus routes 60 and 61. Additionally, customers are able to use routes 1/1A, 2/2A, 61, 62 and 63 between Cardiff and Radyr on the city line route with Cardiff Bus.
For safety, train services are unable to run between Abercynon and Aberdare.
Customers using Pay As You Go must ensure that they tap out at their end destination.
Transport for Wales have organised buses to run between Abercynon and Aberdare to assist customers to complete journeys where possible at no extra cost. These will be provided by J Davies and Acorn coaches and will run every half hour until the incident is cleared.
Road transport will take longer than rail services. Please allow extra time to complete your journey.
