Description

Following a broken down rain in the Arbroath area all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains running between Dundee and Aberdeen may still be delayed by up to 30 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

ScotRail customer advice:

Limited rail replacement transport has been sourced to run from Dundee to Aberdeen. Please speak to station staff for further details.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services:

  • Alternative ScotRail services via any reasonable route

  • Stagecoach Buses East between Dundee and Arbroath / Montrose

  • Scottish Citylink buses between Dundee and Aberdeen

Just show your valid ticket or Smart card to the driver when boarding the bus.

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
