Trains between Manchester Piccadilly and New Mills Central / Sheffield
Description
A points failure between Ashburys and Romiley via Bredbury means that all lines are blocked. As a result of this, trains that run between Manchester Piccadilly and Romiley via Bredbury are cancelled between these stations and will be diverted where possible via Guide Bridge.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Network Rail engineers are on site.
Customer advice:
Services between Ashburys and Romiley via Bredbury will be diverted and will not call at Belle Vue, Ryder Brow, Reddish North, Brinnington and Bredbury in both directions.
Ashburys to Hadfield services are not affected.
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.

Rail replacement transport will depart Manchester Piccadilly calling at Ashburys, Belle Vue, Ryder Brow, Reddish North, Brinnington, Bredbury and Romiley at the following times:
16:30 / 17:30 / 18:30 / 19:30 / 20:30 / 21:30 / 22:50
Rail replacement transport will depart Romiley calling at Bredbury, Brinnington, Reddish North, Ryder Brow, Belle Vue, Ashburys and Manchester Piccadilly at the following times:
16:05 / 17:05 / 18:05 / 19:05 / 20:05 / 21:05 / 21:50 / 23:55
Rail replacement transport will depart Manchester Piccadilly calling at Ashburys, Belle Vue, Ryder Brow, Reddish North, Brinnington, Bredbury, Romiley, Marple, Strines and New Mills Central at the following times:

Journey times will be extended by 30 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.
