Description

A person has been hit by a train between Minster and Wye. So that the emergency services can safely carry out their work, all lines are closed.

Trains operating through these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes, revised or diverted via Dover Priory.

Disruption is expected until 19:00.

Customer advice:

We have had a report of a person being hit by a train between Minster and Wye. Trains are currently unable to run on this line whilst emergency services are on site and have evacuated the train involved. The train involved in the incident has now moved. Engineers will now examine the track to allow trains to travel down the line.

How does this affect my journey?

No trains will travel between Ashford and Ramsgate via Canterbury West.

Trains will be cancelled, or diverted via Dover Priory.

The first train to run via Canterbury West is expected to be the 18:42 Ramsgate - London Charing Cross.

What should I do?

Replacement buses are in operation between Ashford and Ramsgate via Canterbury West.

Two buses will be stopping at all stations and two more will be travelling between Ashford, Canterbury West and Ramsgate only.
