Description

A fire next to the track between Tamworth and Nuneaton means that some lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes, revised or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 20:00.

Avanti West Coast customer advice:

You may use your ticket on London Northwestern Railway services between Liverpool Lime Street and Birmingham New Street, and also between Birmingham New Street and London Euston at no extra cost.

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

If you no longer wish to travel because your train is delayed or cancelled, you can request a full refund from where you bought your ticket.
